I’ve been through some painful shit. Not gonna lie. And I’ve typed a lot of painful words on my keyboard that needed to come out. And I continue to get it out. I don’t plan on ever giving up my journaling. I’ve told you what it means to me. It saved my life. Literally.
There was one night when the pain was bad. I will go as far to say that it was the worst. And I was alone. And I wanted to contact nobody. I was in too much pain. I felt like I needed to go this one alone. I started on my bedroom floor in sheer agony, lying in the fetal position. This was going somewhere, and I could feel a fear setting in that I had never felt before.
I was going into some deep pain. And I was scared. Really scared. For me. For my life.
So I desperately pulled out my laptop, and began pounding on my keys. I had to get this shit out. I was absolutely frightened and in a shit ton of pain that was quickly beginning to overtake me. And I couldn’t control it. I had been able to in the past.
And I pounded the fuck out of those keys. I was fighting for my life.
And then I threw myself on the floor, and just let it out. The deepest, most painful cry ever. And I wrapped my arms around me cause that’s all I had at the moment. I had to save me. There was no one else. And I did. I saved me. I was there for me. I don’t know how or where the strength came from, but it came when I needed it the most. And I have never gone back to that point of pain again, and I don’t think I will.
